The Hadrian’s Wall Path is a long distance footpath in the north of England, which runs for 84 miles (134.5 kilometres), from Wallsend on the east coast to Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast. Hadrian’s Wall was built in AD122 on the orders of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, and stretched from the East to West coasts of Britain, from Bowness on Solway in the West to Wallsend in the East.
